Using the entry function you can create simple pairs of terminological equivalents or more complex entries including all types of metalinguistic and additional administrative information. Terms can be introduced from TermStar or other applications such as Microsoft® Word® or Adobe® FrameMaker®.
Moreover, TermStar works perfectly with other STAR applications, such as Transit and GRIPS, so that terminology can be created during drafting and translation.
Quality from the start in all processes
To ensure that the creation of quality terminology is as easy as possible, TermStar offers several entry verification functions, predefined value lists and automatic introduction of administrative and evaluation data. The principle of quality also governs interaction with other applications.
TermStar provides translators working with Transit with automatic terminology proposals and ensures the coherent use of multilingual terminology in translations. TermStar therefore automatically presents translators working in Transit with terminology suggestions and ensures consistent use of multilingual terminology in translations. TermStar is also used to check terminology in translated documents, for the spell check and alignment.
