Open and perfectly integrated
If your organisation already has glossaries or terminology lists, these can be easily imported and used in TermStar.
TermStar is not only compatible with today's terminology interchange formats MARTIF and TBX, it also facilitates imports from any structured text file, from terminology lists in MS® Excel®, MS® Access® and other databases to tagged files (HTML, SGML, XML or customised tags).
With the possibilities for extracting high quality terminological data available on the Internet, you can easily create secure terminological databases to establish the terminological foundations of your company.
Minimum investment, maximum return
The basic version of TermStar is already equipped with an MS® Access® database. However, TermStar is also compatible with other platforms such as Oracle® Database, IBM® DB 2, Microsoft® SQL Server and MySQL. Therefore, there is no need to invest in a specific database when you can continue to use those already in use in your organisation.
