QUALITY, always a priority

The summer has flown by and we're now ready to return to work.

Although, the truth is that STAR didn't actually close for the holidays. In addition to providing linguistic support to our regular customers, and to those who requested our services for the first time, we have been focusing on improving our processes and tools, cleaning dictionaries, updating glossaries and other tasks that define us and enable us to continue offering the highest quality after 22 years in the translation, localisation and interpretation sector.

ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 recertification

We are starting September recharged and full of energy. In July, we renewed our ISO 9001:2105 and ISO 17100:2015 certifications with good marks and are very proud of the results obtained.

We received no non-conformities and just three comments for improvement, related to administrative aspects. The audit highlighted three strong points related to our management:

1. The rigorous control of IT resource maintenance.
2. The versatility of a powerful application for identifying and managing the necessary resources.
3. The general control of operating processes via our in-house ERP system, which is upgraded according to the needs that emerge from each department.

We are extremely pleased with these strong points, which drive us to continue working in this direction in order to prioritise QUALITY and continuous improvement.

From the moment a project arrives at STAR, until it is delivered to the customer, all steps are carried out with the utmost rigour: analysis, offer, selection of the most appropriate vendors for the project, communication with the customer to have a perfect understanding of their needs, project launch, quality control and final delivery.

All project phases comply strictly with ISO 9001:2015 and the translation service is guaranteed by ISO 17100:2015. This workflow forms part of STAR's DNA and the entire team is fully committed.
