Short cuts – Nº 8 : Moving the cursor in the Transit NXT translation editor

Using keyboard shortcuts always helps you boost your productivity. While translating, you often need to move the cursor to a particular position several times. The following shortcuts will help you increase your speed during translation and thereby optimize your time as much as possible.
- ALT + LEFT ARROW - Go to the start of segment
- ALT + RIGHT ARROW - Go to the end of segment
- CTRL + RIGHT/LEFT ARROW - Jump to the next/previous word
- CTRL + SHIFT + RIGHT/LEFT ARROW - Select the next/previous word
- CTRL + HOME - Go to the first segment of the language pair window
- CTRL + END - Go to the last segment of the language pair window
- SHIFT + HOME - Select all the text to the left side of the cursor position up to the beginning of the segment
- SHIFT + END - Select all the text on the right side of the cursor position up to the end of the segment
Use the PLUS and MINUS keys on the numeric keypad for the below shortcuts:
- PLUS - Go to next segment
- MINUS - Go to previous segment
- CTRL + PLUS - Go to the next 'Not translated' segment
- CTRL + MINUS - Go to the previous 'Not translated' segment
- ALT + PLUS - Go to the next 'Check pretranslation' segment
- ALT + MINUS - Go to the previous 'Check pretranslation' segment
- CTRL + ALT + PLUS - Go to the next 'Not translated' or 'Check pretranslation' segment
- CTRL + ALT + MINUS - Go to the previous 'Not translated' or 'Check pretranslation' segment
