STAR Campus: Segment filters for translation and quality control
STAR Campus: Segment filters for translation and quality control
Free webinar on the use of segment filters in Transit NXT, STAR's computer assisted translation tool. Don't miss it!
Focus on what's important in each phase of the project
Not all segments are equally relevant in all the different steps of a project: At the beginning of the translation, you might want to look first at the segments for which you have good fuzzy matches, and at the end see segments in which certain text appears. As a reviewer, you may want to specifically check segments with comments, or you may as a project manager want an overview of segments with revisions.
For these and many other cases, you can use Transit's segment filter to evaluate and combine all sorts of segment information. With it, you can always concentrate on the segments relevant to the current step in the process.
In this webinar, you will learn how to work with segment filters and when the different criteria make sense.
Agenda
To start, you will learn why segment filters are helpful for translation and reviewing. Then we will show you, using many practical application examples, when you can use the different filter criteria and what for. You will also learn that you can not only show and hide segments with the filter, but also specifically navigate or highlight segments.
